I was at the Howe game. He had about 55 yards on his first 3 carries, but pulled up at the end of the third and grabbed his leg. He didn't run the rest of the night. And WW doesn't have a receiver over about 5'8, so he doesn't have much to throw to. As far as winning a district championship, Gunter just beat #8 3A Melissa again (Melissa's only loss last year when they won 2A state). So, no way on that one. In fact, I think they will be lucky to get 3rd in district.

Not a great article on him in ESPN today. Are we still looking at him as a QB? 1-8 in 2A?

His defense is horrible which has more to do with the win/loss record. But he is far from where Vince Young was at this point in High School so the comparisons were and are a bit premature.
