Swiss Oatmeal (aka 'Summer' Oatmeal)

I love oatmeal as a pre-run breakfast, but it doesn't appeal to me during the heat of the summer. I saw this "Swiss Oatmeal" at a bakery for $4 a half-pint, and figured I could whip some up. Here's what I've come up with so far:

1/2 cup Quaker oats
4 oz skim milk
cinnamon to taste
dash of salt
Dozen or so whole blueberries
One Granny Smith, chopped into chunks
4 oz 2% or 0% plain greek yogurt
1Tbsp Almond Slices

The night before, combine oats, milk, salt, and cinnamon. Stir and put in fridge in tight container overnight. The next morning, stir in the yogurt, fruit and almonds.

No cooking required.

This will stick to your ribs all morning, and also makes a great afternoon snack.

Does that make one or two servings? Looks great. Now need to run the Weight Watchers points on it.

This would be considered a single serving for breakfast, or 2 separate snacks.

One other tip that may reduce the "points" by a few is after soaking the oats overnight, spoon them out into another bowl before mixing, as opposed to mixing in the same bowl they soaked in. You'll leave behind some unnecessary milk that way, and it makes the bowl you eat less "runny".
