Getting bids for a basic rectanglular pool to swim laps and play volleyball. I would love to hear refs as well as complaints.......

I use to work for Lakeside Custom Pools here in Austin as a pool designer and I highly recomend them. The owner is involved in every aspect of the building process and when he the job is finished he will be a new friend of yours. You will hear horror stories about pool companies but it doesn't have to be a bad experience. Their website isThe Link PM me if you have any questions about the process. Yep we had our pool built by lakeside custom pools 3 years ago and the owner was very cool and very involved. They did an amazing job. I think the second picture in the gallery might be of our pool or at least the same design. I would highly recomend him.

We're in RR as well and used PoolScapes to build ours.
His name is Dick Lynch and he is partners with Tom Pitt of Pitt Custom Homes. We were/are very pleased with the whole process.

how much is a decently sized pool?

I have a nice little pool with a spa in my backyard
that cost $32,000 15 years ago and even with the higher cost of construction you can get one the same size for about the same cost now.
