Swapping second row bucket seats for a bench seat?

This is for an 04 suburban...
Can this be done or is the floor different? My dad does not like the buckets and wants a bench seat...where could I maybe find a trade in for his buckets for a bench?

I think its technicall possible but its also prohibitively expensive. We had a 99 Suburban with a bench and wanted to put in the buckets. Called a family friend that's a parts manager at a local Chevy dealer and was basically told the above.

I have not been paying attention. Is the bench seat option a true bench seat or is it the 60/40 split thing like it is in my pre-2000 style?
