surprised Phillip didn't pull the curtain back at the final tribal council and brag that he actually fooled everybody by being a total pain in the ***.

imo, all he had to do was tell everybody that that strategy was his only way of getting to the final, because everybody would want to go up against him.

That one girl even asked him who the real Phillip was, and he declined to say anything revealing.

Instead Phillip waits until the reunion show to say that was his strategy.

dumb, like he didn't know that could help him win votes, because he actually told the camera several weeks before about his strategy.

also, didn't reveal final complete vote, but had to be 8-1. most lopsided game ever, best game every played by a winner.

I don't think it was very fair. I actually like Boston Rob now after this season. Other times I just thought he was a douche. But the experience playing the game before is a huge advantage.

I can't believe how dumb the rest of the players were, especially Grant. How could he not see that coming? Natalie too, those two should have taken Boston Rob out when it was down to the six.

Worst season ever.

just painfully boring and predictable.

i didnt mind the Redemption island....but it should end at the merge.

Letting someone comeback at the Final Five is ridiculous.

rob played a great game for sure, and many of the past winners could argue dominance...Brian Heidik, Yul Kwon, Tom Westman...but Earl Cole won Fiji 9-0-0 (and he had never seen the show before).

It's not just this season, but I'm also amazed at the ineptitude of most of the finalists in closing arguments in front of the jury. As previously mentioned phillip's whole strategy is to be Mr. (crazy) Annoyance yet he forgets to turn off the act at the final vote. Little pixy dancer says "My strategy was to ride Wrob's coattails, and it worked" instead of doing some negative campaigning (eg, Rob hasn't worked a day since he appeared on this show 10 years ago. They already won their million dollars after four attempts (including TAR), so how about moving over and giving some one else a chance.)

Rob did teach us a two valuable lessons: 1) know what people want (and it our core we all want to be loved and heard), and 2) you have to maintain constant communication.

I think what is hard to appreciate from the comfort of our living room is how easy it is to give up reason/logic in favor of following the cult of personality. Part of the human condition.
