Supreme Court Ruling

As I understand it, The Supreme Court's unanimous ruling prevents the NCAA limiting education-related benefits which the SCOTUS ruled is a violation of antitrust laws when it limited the amount students could receive for things like musical instruments, scientific equipment, postgraduate scholarships, tutoring, academic awards and paid internships. Justice Brett Kavanaugh said the “NCAA and its member colleges are suppressing the pay of student athletes who collectively generate billions of dollars in revenues for colleges every year. Those enormous sums of money flow to seemingly everyone except for student athletes.”

So, what does this mean? Potentially, ticket prices may go up, for one. Recruiting might be affected as the higher wealth colleges can provided more money for the education part than they do currently. For other students not on scholarship, I suspect tuition may also take a jump to makeup for any shortfalls a college might incur.
