I've been watching some of these Superliga games online. Unfortunately Chivas USA gave up a goal somewhat late in the second half and tied New England 1-1 to knock themselves out of the tournament.
The hope for Superliga was a Chivas USA vs. Chivas of Guadalajara... neither team made it through the group round.
Right now, I'm watcing Pachuca vs. Santos with Brad Sham announcing.
It is funny when you hear someone announce a game when they don't know the players and they don't speak Spanish.
Oswaldo Sanchez is the goalie for Santos and right before a corner kick he yelled out "Marca cabrones" (or something like that). Brad Sham says "You can hear Sanchez yelling out instructions." Well, yeah Brad. He's basically yelling "Mark up *******!!"
SIDE NOTE: Whenever I call anyone of my friends a "pinche cabron" down here, they always tell me "That's Mexican."... Yeah, I know... pinche cabron.
