I neglected to make anything and planned on firing up the Crock Pot for something yesterday. A friend suggested getting a ton of those McDeath Nuggets. I cannot bring myself to do that. So in a little bit I am going to HEB in search of something yummy. Suggestions?

Chips, dip and whips are already being brought. I may get some brie and baguette, grapes and berries.

There were just short of 30 people. There was venison, tender loin, smoked boudin sausage, red beans and rice, alligator stew and the typical things like homeade queso, guac and several dips to include crab/artichoke were already taken care of. There were cheese balls, stuffed jalapenos, coconut shrimp and other yummy things. Showing up with a bag of chips and queso would be dumb in this instance.

I ended up taking some finger foods and snacks people may want to eat during the game and they went over well.

Yogurt covered pretzels
Sesame sticks

They got eaten and all was good. A sick amount of food and the variety was great.

It was Alligator Piquant or Pecant. Something like that. It was fantastic!!!

Had wild boar, venison roast and venison sausage. Throw in some steamed rice, some jalapeno poppers and St. Arnold's Lawnmower along with 4 Horns representin' and this was a damn fine SB.
