Sunken Driveway

Short version: 25 year old driveway on a slight rise.

A few years ago, rainwater runoff got under it for a short time and washed out some of the soil / sand base underneath - compromising a large section of the driveway. Cracks appeared and are getting bigger. I expect some new cracks soon. Some destruction of some of the driveway top surface is now happening and at some point, the vehicle traffic and overall weakness will cause further deterioration to the point of replacement.

There is a technology to shoot concrete, in some form, under driveways and sidewalks to stop the sinking, cracking and otherwise stablize the surface underneath. I saw ads for this service years ago - can't find anything about it now.

Replacement of this section of my dirveway will be $$$ IMO.

Anyone know of a business in DFW or North Texas that can provide this technology or repair this driveway.

Thanks and I will hang up and listen.

For the short-term, you might try levering up the sunken piece with a pipe and something as the lever and then place some bricks underneath. I did this on the sidewalk that leads to my front door and it worked pretty well, but then again it just had foot traffic on it.

Flowable fill concrete is what you're wanting: The Link

This stuff flows like quicksand out of the chute, and within 5 minutes is hard as a rock. Depending on volume needed, you probably will pay more for a truck mobilization than for material costs.
