I enjoy reading all their posts, I think Imani is entertaining as can be. I agree that I truly am impressed to see the dedication of the team to get up and at 'em so early... I am getting really excited to see what all is gonna happen in the future!

K.Aston has done so much in the off season. I can't wait for the season start.I love everybody's attitude toward working hard for the up coming season.

Dino, Coach A and staff get it.. it's not about trips to Rome and Prague or sightseeing.

Actually Coach A did speak about taking trips to Russia or Germany w/ the team in the coming years. But I'm sure that you'll be far more receptive to that just because it wasn't GG's idea.
 
As somone who spends a great deal of time around young people, I can tell you that this was something that they will remember for the rest of their life. How many of those kids would have gotten to go to that place in their lifetime? Probably no more than two or three of them. One thing that I think we as fans didnt give Coach G enough credit for was growing the players as young women off the court as well. Thats why she had them read and also do other things that they could apply in their everyday life. I recently got to talk to Joy Cheek now a coach at her alma mater, and when I told her I was from Austin the first question was "how awesome is GG" She really makes lasting impressions on these kids and I think the trip just exemplifies that. She certainly did not gain the on court results that we all wanted, but I dont think you look at the big picture when you talk about this trip. Im sure that it did more for a few of those kids than wins or losses ever could. I really admire your passion and how much you want the girls to win, I just think it can be a bit narrow minded from time to time. But I still and alway will respect your opinion.

Looks like they are working really hard. I'm glad they find a bit of time to relax and bond off the court as well.
