Getting to Omaha will probably push a few pitchers to skip summer ball. I talked to Cole Green yesterday morning and he said that if they make it to Omaha, he personally will not be attending the Cape league and give his arm some rest. Same will probably be true of freshmen Jungmann and Dicharry. Cole mentioned Wood staying in Austin last year and working out with his trainer all summer and how much he has been rewarded for that, and how a few guys might take that route instead of more wear and tear on their arms. I hope this is the case and our staff comes back just as good or better next year.
