This will be 7th top-10 opponent in bowl game for OU under Stoops. It's easy to win against a 6-6 team in your home state, well not easy for UT.

Boise St 2006 was a MUCH better team than Hawaii 2007

I think 06 was a very weak year for the Big 12 in general. In all the other BCS conferences, OU would not have become conf champions, but the Big 12 was so weak last year that they sneaked into the BCS

As for this year, by the time final poll results are released, OU will have beaten 4 top 10 teams this year:

1) WVU
2) Mizzou x 1
3) Mizzou x 2
4) Texas

Not too shabby.

OU last year wasn't in Georgia's league this year. Yes, OU should have lost to Boise St. Boise was better.

Thing is....I don't know if we beat Boise State in that game either. We didn't exactly prove we could defend either A) passes, or B) trick plays all season.

I think things worked out perfectly. We won our bowl game and OU got posterized by Boise State. That's a win-win folks.

Boise last year was much better than this year's Hawaii. I think last year's Boise team put like 9 guys into the NFL, plus some decent OL that will be drafted this year.

Every year they win, no matter the attrition, the recruiting, whatever. We only beat them when we have a nuclear team.
