driving buzzed is usually no big deal to those driving, since somehow, they always live and usually without scars.

natural selection is supposed to weed out those unfit to live and DWI would be a great way of doing this, unfortunately, people not selected to be removed from the gene pool always happen to be in the crosshairs.

Funny this thread came up. I took a cab home from a buddy's house saturday night. Ten bucks. 2 dollar tip. nobody dead. small hassle the next day getting my car....

$12.00 possibly saved a life/dui/my life/people getting mauled, etc, etc

so worth it

However, If I have had 3 beers. I'm driving home.

why would i consider myself to be on the pedestal if I was the worse of everybody? my post was intended to say that if you did experience killing or losing a life as a result of drinking and driving, you would probably never consider having a few and driving to be ok. you don't have to be a murderer to feel regret over losing somebody, and my thoughts on this subject are shaped from personal experiences.

i do apologize bigwill over hijacking this thread, but, this particular chick in the article really really pissed me off. she has priors and she clearly demonstrates no moral capacity whatsoever. it does make you think, if she had crashed her car into your son or daughter, how the hell would you ever recover from the fact that your child was killed because somebody was shaving her pubes?
