I would like to add that if our students and fans were 1/2 as good a fan, dedicated through thick and thin as you and a handful of others we wold rock the face off the Erwin Center. Thanks for all y'all do, did and will do. It is noticed and appreciated. Y'all try. Here is to the loud, proud and constantly present even if sometimes just in spirit.

If you are speaking about the right side of the picture, those are sports writers, not students.

The seating at the Drum is all screwed up and this is further evidence. The courtside middle is for season ticket holders forcing the students to the end lines and upper reaches. Now you have sportswriters taking up 25% of one endline. At a minimum move the sportswriters up and away (give them a TV monitor if they say they cannot see the floor).

I watched the game on TV. The students that showed up were active and made an impact on TV and I am sure as well at the game. The crowd for the most part was the typical UT crowd. They got loud in the 2nd half when Texas made a big run and Gary Johnson was in the zone. But it shouldn't take that kind of amazing play to get the play alive.

I am wondering who started the thing where all the season ticket holders stand up until the horns make the 1st bucket. What kind of reward is that? How about sit down and then stand up as soon as they make a bucket....that makes more sense to me.

Students should show up and fill the end zone lower level no doubt....that is how it was done most games when I was in school, and especially for conference games in February.

It was a school night against not OU or A&M. Some of those students have 8 AM classes the next morning.

The other student section was similar, but with out the band. Those seats eventually got filled by people coming down from the mezzanine
