Stubbs: I was disappointed

Seemed overpriced and too dark. The food being the main thing, I just wasn't impressed.

I don't know if they still have it but the Sunday Gospel Brunch is awesome. Tons of food and great atmosphere. Check it out. The catch is that you have to get up before noon on a Sunday.

Average food, but good place to catch outdoor shows. I like House Park BBQ better for lunch.

P/C nailed it pretty well. Food is mediocre at best, but shows there are great. Only exception was Big Head Todd last year, which was so incredibly oversold that getting to the pissers or the beer stands was miserable.

Go to Jaime's across the street for some drinks...then go to Stubbs.

Go tonight. Coopers Uncle is playing a free happy hour show (6-9) with free food and cheap beer.

If you like South Austin Jug band, you'll like Coopers Uncle.
