you know 4.54 doesn't seem very fast considering what they run at the pro scouting combine in Indy. But he's 6'5 and only a HS senior. That's actually really fast for his age. If we can land him he will get faster and will be a top WR in the country. Come on aboard Carlos.

I like them both. It looks like our odds of getting one more very good WR just went up between the two of them.

A little behind the scenes insight; my wife is a teacher at Dallas Sykline and we have been friends with Coach Samples for the past 15-20 years (while he had been coaching at Dallas Skyline/Lincoln). My wife Is constantly in the ears of the students/players about the benefits of our beloved Longhorns while I "work the ears" of the parents of the players at the games. It's all in good fun and while we would never take any type of credit for player commitments believe you me we absolutely know Anthony (Wheeler) and Ms. Strickland .

During the High School Playoffs specifically against Irving, I sat with Carlos' Mom and she told me about Texas Tech but she also made it clear that he really liked UCLA. Of course she knows who I am affiliated with and smiled and said "I really think Texas is in the mix". Carlos is the real deal! He has uncanny way of finding separation and is built like Limus Sweed. This would be a huge pick up!!!!!!!
