Strawberry margarita

Anyone have a good recipe? I have tried to make them a bunch of different ways and they always taste terrible. I've tried mixes, fresh strawberries, frozen strawberries... all gross. I love the ones at Lupe tortilla, Hula Hut, and Chili's actually makes a pretty good one too. Any ideas?

3/4 of a can of the minute maid frozen limeade (looks like the biscuit can)
1/2 cup of triple sec
1/2 to 1 cup tequila (depending on how strong you want it)
1/2 carton (like school milk cartons) of the frozen strawberries with sugar added

add ice, and blend!

that should do the trick

I have used one of those Barcardi Breezes (I think that is what they call them) frozen cans to makes some. They are supposed to be for Strawberry Daquiris, but I just add the alcohol for margaritas and they turn out pretty good I think.

The Frozen Bacardi Mixes kick all kinds of ***!

For normal Frozen 'Ritas, I use-
- 1 can of Bacardi Margarita Mix
- 2/3 can of Sauza Hornitos Tequila (100% Agave of course)
- 1/3 can of Gran Marnier
- fill the rest of the blender with ICE

They are smooth and VERY strong. Maybe cut the mix & liquors in half and then add strawberries & sugar. It should be VERY easy.

Patron makes a Grand Marnier knock off for between $14-$24 for 750ml, depending on where you can find it. Use that instead.

I was responsible for frozen ritas at my last job in the States. It was on the company tab. THAT is why I was making them the way I did.
