Still with the injuries excuse!

I have read these lame comments for 3 years about how GG is not to blame, It's the injuries. Gets kinda old.

Learn to recruit and this becomes a non-factor. With depth (ie good recruiting) the injury excuse becomes 'we are young'. I love rooting for 'young' UT teams. They bite as pups most times (as DKR used to say) if they were good talent in the first place.

AND, by the way, the only coach who can complain about injuries right now is Augie.

Wasnt the no excuses philosophy proclaimed by goestenkors to her team at the beginning of this season?

SHUT UP goestenkors!

Even the game commentators mentioned how hard it is to win with only 3 guards...guess they are all whacked out, too.

Facts are facts.....we are an injury-riddled team...

Do I think things are not going well? Yes....

Do I want to see things turned around? Yes....

Easy to say "No Excuses" when you have all but one player healthy at the beginning of the season....then have a boatload go by the wayside a few months later.

Why don't you stop making excuses already? It is hard to have only 3 guards no one says it isn't. Although at the end of the day it is about wins and losses, right now it needs to be about building a foundation for the return to a winning program. When you don't see good fundamentals in the players that are healthy...and I'm talking about in the first four minutes of the game or the first four minutes after half....you start to question the direction of the program. The offensive sets we run 9 out of 10 times are pure and utter garbage. There is no post play whatsoever in this team and that is the case even when you have 6'4" girls going up against no one taller than 6'2". Blaming those things on injuries or on only having 3 guards is retarded. I know I should just accept that there are 3 or 4 of you on this board that will be part of the last 100 people still going to women's basketball games. I hope for your sake they'll keep at least one concession stand open for you...they are already down to 2. On the plus side of going to womens' games.... you never ever have to wait in line for the bathroom.

It would have been interesting to have had Cassie on the court this season to see if she could have become the coach on the court. We need a point guard like that and haven't had one since Jamie Carey.
