Still after Starts?

Saw mention on another site that we are not giving up on Starts. This seems like still more evidence of the New MackTM, if true. Apparently the fact that he "committed" to Tech no longer means we won't keep after him. Also sounded like we not only told him we're still interested, we even told him he could play D, if that's what he wants. Apparently he still has his UT offer, and it's good until LOI signing... I do hope this is real and not just Jesus or someone dreaming or smoking crack... Anybody got info, either way???

Yep, certainly have room for another DT now! Just hope we do not lose anymore or we will be short for this season also.

Isn't it Mack's stated policy to back off of a recruit -- not continue to "stay in touch" --
after the guy commits elsewhere?

Do you know what the cliched naval war movie expression "aye aye, sir" actually means?

It sounds silly and redundant but what the response conveys to the officer in 2 quick syllables is:
1. I heard and understand the order.
2. I will execute it.

Kind of cool I think.

I heard "aye, sir" a whole lot more than "aye, aye, sir". Maybe them boys was just lazy.
