...personally justified my DirecTV March Madness subscription yesterday.

Remember the first half KD had at Kansas last season? That was like Curry's second half yesterday.

Gonzaga actually guarded him well, but he'd get one step on his defender and launch a lightning-quick shot. The one open look he had came late in the game when Davidson scrambled for an offensive rebound, and someone found Curry wide open outside the 3-line. Most of the crowd was standing and signalling "three" even before he released the ball. It went in, of course.

Normally, I hate seeing shots of players' parents, but seeing a former NBA player in the crowd with a look on his face that was part joy and part disbelief was awesome.

I was just about to make a post about him. Haven't seen him much, but gotta like him. Just a little kid that all the major schools reject and he is playing lights out in the tourney. It is great to see his excitement too. He is giddy out there.

Magazine called "Inside Higher Ed" did a bracket based solely on the academic success of the players on each team. Davidson is your national champion. Curry's can ball and get it done in the classroom.

I only caught the tailend of his interview on PTI and maybe missed the context, but he seemed like an *** calling out and mocking his teammates.

Eating Club, I hope you were being sarcastic. Curry was using a cardboard face of his point guard, Jason Richards, to do the role-playing that Kornheiser and Wilbon regularly do on PTI. Curry was actually very humble in his interview and refrained from bashing Virginia Tech and the other teams that failed to recruit him.

Wow this guy is fun to watch. It doesn't take much at all for him to get his shot off and more importantly he is CLUTCH!!! Go Davidson!!
