I usually do not put anything on my steak, but I am trying something a little different. This meal will be cooked on a campfire with a grill with no electricity on site. I am leaning towards a mixture of Ribeye's and NY Strips steaks. I am cooking for 6 - 8 people.
Here are the two sauces/toppings I am thinking and need some help with them.
1. Topped with fried crawfish tails and port wine demi glace
2. Grilled seasoned shrimp, rich Italian cheeses and herbs
* I picked this up from Applebee's and really like it.
I am open to all suggestions for easy sauces/toppings I can prepare ahead of time or over the camp fire. I am going to pair this with Beer grilled corn with Chile Butter (from Hornfans.com), Sweet Potato French Fries, Dutch Oven Cobbler with Homemade Ice Cream. I will be starting off with either a Wild Game Kabob or Bacon/Cheese/Japeleno wrapped Quail.
