Got some buddies and we want to do a golf weekend in october. Ideally, we'd play 36 holes saturday and sunday, but we're open to the idea of playing Sunday-Monday. We're tenatively looking at October 23rd weekend. Anyone have recommendations for courses and/or cheap lodging, or perhaps even a hookup? Trying to find the right combination of good golf and cheap lodging. thanks.
Suggestions so far - The Falls (probably too expensive, as they want $70 a round), Delaware springs (no on-site lodges, but cheap enough in town), and a stay-in-austin suggestion (like 36 at Kizer/Clay each day).
