Just taking a look at the stats. Seven of the 11 players are hitting FGs at 50% or better. Seven players have taken a 3 with the top three, Brit, Kat, and Erika, hitting 44%, 35% & 35%, respectively. Five of the eleven are hitting FTs at a 73% clip or better with Kristen (92%) and Carla (90%) tops. Brit and Kat have been to the line 34 & 33 times, respectively, with Brit hitting 77% and Kat 85%. Everyone is hitting the boards, with a low of 2.0 rpg to a high of 6.9 rpg. Carla is far ahead in assists with a total of 41 but four others have between 10 and 19 assists. Our Ashleys’ are having a block party with Gayle leading the way with 19 while Lindsey has 18. Eight of the players have at least six steals. Three players are averaging double figure scoring while seven of the other eight average between 4 and 8 ppg.
All this is spread out among starters and reserves. While the Horns are leaning on Brittainey, Kat and Erika, everyone is contributing. All this leads to the Horns averaging 87 ppg while hitting 50% of FGs, 38% on 3s, and 71% on FTs.
