6721, I had a choice between watching the SOTU or playing online bridge instead. We came in third place in our bridge game - and I assume Biden probably came in third place with the SOTU address.
 
I don’t like Joe Biden as well think he’s the worst president in the history of our country. However, now it’s official ….he’s a Lincoln Riley fan

All joking aside what I complete idiotic moment by this guy he’s going to say the name huh and then he says Lincoln Riley what an idiot And a slap to this girls parents

One thing for sure, he didn't gain any independent voters tonight. Too mean sprited (still weak) . Maybe he was trying to rein in those Uncommitted types

When are politicians going to understand Reagan invented the Happy Warrior tag. It works. Go dark and you turn people off
 
Not impressed with anybody. Biden acted like an angry Walmart greeter. Katie Britt is cute (and looks even younger than she is) but seems very uncomfortable and unprepared. I know she's trying to seem passionate with the shaky voice routine, but it's off-putting. I understand that they wanted someone young to contrast with Biden, but they first and foremost needed someone who could deliver a good speech, and she is really didn't.

Sorry, we were unimpressed with Katie Britt for her follow up. I'm sure she is a nice person...

However, to us she came across too scripted, kind of disingenuous sounding, perhaps even phony. Poor choice.

Maybe a passionate, angry conservative minority talking about the border, inflation / poor economy, world in crisis would have been a better choice.

Some pundit claimed yesterday or today that Biden would debate Trump at least 1x.

I will place a bet on that. However, IF a debate really happens, Trump handlers and staff need to SERIOUSLY coach him to debate vigorously but do NOT CRUSH Joe.

Go easy and let Joe CRUSH HIMSELF, which we will do if you let him!!!

So, did anyone notice angry Biden did not start off talking about THIS country and our issues?

No, he started talking about WW2, F' Ukraine.

Inflation facing most Americans, the recent layoffs, terrible economy, border crisis, etc. No.

And yet most polls show the open border and illegals as the number 1 issue which is directly tied to #2 issue, economy. Sometimes the issues are flipped.

In the vids I have seen Slojo is angry and shouting. Is that the way he was most of his tirade?

To be fair to her, most of that speech was probably written for her. Her fault was not reading through it enough times.

Abortion (a state issue) yes, but if he keeps claiming that democracy is on trial, he will start losing any knowledgeable supporters.

Wonder what they shot him up with

I have known several people who sadly suffered from dementia
Loud and angry was their typical demeanor.
