Our Ladies Tennis team won and gave us another point and we lead 8 - 4 and just need two more points to win the competition. Unfortunately most of the remaining points I feel will go to the Aggies. We have no more events in March. I am hoping we can get the points in Men's tennis and Men's Golf. I feel we have an even chance in the baseball but it would be nice to get those ten points in the Men's tennis and golf. We will see.
FWHORN I think we are going to win it this year but it will still be tough.

I agree that men's tennis is an overwhelming favorite. That should be one of the needed two. Now if mens golf or baseball can come through the world will be righted.

I agree with you FWHORN. I think we should get the Men's Tennis point even though the game is at CS. We should also get the Men's Golf point to get us to ten. Baseball can go either way. I would love to be wrong but I think the rest of the points go to the Aggies.

In April there are 3 1/2 points to be fought for. They are as follows:

On April 1 1/2 point for softball at College Station.

On April 18 Men's Tennis at College Station for 1 point.

On April 24-26 Women's Big 12 Golf Tournament for 1 point at Lubbock

On April 27-29 Men's Big 12 Golf Tournament for 1 point at Hutchinson, KS.

Looking more and more like we better take the mens tennis and golf points because the baseball point is becomming highly questionable at this point and the other points are all big aggy favorites. Not sure what is going on with the baseball team but they are a Mizzou melt down away from being 1-5 in conference and seem to be imploding into a no hitting and error prone funk. Meanwhile softball isnt giving any indication they will be able to hang with the ags and the outdoor track teams just dont have the athletes this year to make a run at aggy.

At this point 10-9 seems the outcome but who wins 10-9 to be decided on the court and the green's.

Baseball......they may not be able to hit our pitching, but we can't hit anyone's pitching either, so it is UP IN THE AIR.

I agree with FWHORN as usual. We need to win the Men's Tennis point and the Men's Golf point. The thing that worries me is the Men's Tennis point right now because the match is in College Station even though we shouild get it. Baseball can go either way.
I am hoping that in the future that Women's Golf can get this point since we have that new golf buidling that is awesome and hopefully will attract some good lady recruits.

The next 1/2 point available is on this Wednesday when our softball team goes to College Station to play A&M starting at 6:30 P.M.
Those that can please go there and support out ladies.
If we play against them like we did against Oklahoma we have a chance to win this game which would be great.

GO LADY HORNS! BEAT A&M! PLAY LIKE YOU DID AGAINST OKLAHOMA!

Possible preview of mens golf, yesterday the Horns finished 4th in the Morris Williams Invitational, aggy finished 9th. The horns were 18 shots ahead of the ags and on no day did the aggies best cumulative score top the Horns worst day.

While different courses make for different scores, it is a good sign.

That is encouraging news about the Men's Golf Team FWHORN. For sure we need that point and the Men's Tennis point to win this competition as we have already agreed on earlier.

Ladies softball with the huge upset 5-3 to take a 1/2 point.

That is a very pleasant surprise, it is a reminder though that we cant take men's tennis for granted, the ags were as big a favorite in sotball against us as we are in tennis and this was only a half point tennis is for a full point.

Right you are FWHORN! A great effort by our ladies but we still need to get the Men's tennis and golf points to win it. As it is I think the softball team has given us at least a tie but the Aggies would still retain the overall cup for winning it last year. Great job by our softball team.

Men's Tennis is going to be VERY close.

A&M 1-3 line-up stacks up against the best! They are really great at the top. We barely pulled it out at the top in our previous match. They also have a new Russian stud that started just in spring semester. He is very talented but a wild card. I would say their 1-4 line-up is top notch. With the Russian, the 4-5 can slide down to 5-6 which makes a huge difference for them.

Kellen Damico is struggling and Sajous has been inconsistent all yr long. If the entire roster clicks, I think we are one of the best, but it hasn't clicked all yr long.

I agree that the Men's Tennis match will be close maybe 4 - 3 or even if 5 - 2 I expect hard fought matches. Plus it is at College Station where it is not easy for us to win. That is what makes yesterday's softball win so special and our win over the Aggies in the soccer playoffs in 2007 there too.
