Trey Metoyer? 5 star... wasn't this kid last years signee that failed to qualify academically for OU. How does a kid hold onto a 5 star ranking when he has not played in over a year. This whole 5 star 4 star thing really does stink. Performance is a true indication of talent but when the talent pool varies so much from school to school, state to state... Is this really that accurate of a model to use. How does a school that has less recruits surpass one with more 4 stars and 1 less 5 star player.

I am happy with the class but unless it produces on the filed... whats the point of the hype behind the stars.

Not sure what you are looking at, but Trey Metoyer is still a 5* talent, who, unfortunately is still not at a 5th grade comprehension level. Apparently he is cleared to play, but he will not be easy to keep in college. It was very difficult to keep him in school at the high school level. Good for him if he proves me wrong.
