Is this place a good track, or what is a good public track in Austin?

to answer you quickly, yes, Star Ranch is a good course

played SR today. Course was in good shape. It is a fair course but not easy by any means. Shot 82 from the back tees but lipped out about 5-6 putts.

Good track and great staff. The front side and back are two different courses. SR has a few bad holes, but other than that it is a nice layout.
