I'm not overly impressed with the Lopez twins. The push people around in the Pac 10, but the only solid front line in that conference belongs to UCLA. They're solid in the middle, but a team as well rounded as Texas can give them problems. All five of our starters have range from 3 so they can't just stand in the paint and try to swat everything or else they'll get lit up by Connor and Damian.

Having never watched either of these teams all year, why would we matchup better with Marq than stanford?

Stanford is built somewhat like teams we have struggled with this season (Wisconsin, MSU). I do not want to play them next week.

I can't believe that shot went in. Marq had two good open shots that could have put them 3 up but didn't fall. Stanford will be a great test for us, if we can get there.

I'm telling you there's no way the Lopez twins are going to be as effective against Texas because they can't stand in the lane and just swat shots against us. Connor and Damian will light them up from deep and open up the lane for DJ.

After watching Stanford survive tonight, I think they beat Texas. That is unless Damion and Connor have a great three point shooting night.

I do not wish to subscribe to your newsletter. But I agree we have to have a good night shooting. Having GJ healthy will be a big bonus too. Another big body.

But I think we can overtake them. Esp. if we can get some fouls on them early to limit their time on the court. Maybe they can have their PMS occur and be cramping. Somebody, quick, go buy up all the Pamprin.

Stanford is an absolute nightmare matchup situation for Texas. We're going to get in some deep foul trouble trying to play those 2 guys in the paint.

its a nightmare matchup for both teams, imo. they dont have the backcourt to contain us.

fortunately, if we were to beat miami, would have a huge home court advantage.
