I am SOOOOOO hoping for a Cardinal ROUT!!!

Well, I doubt it'll be a rout, but I would love to see Geno the Grinch get his Christmas stolen by the Cardinal!!

Go, Appel, go Ogwumike, etc.!!!

UCONN comes back to win 60-48. Comfortable win in the end but I have to say I was surprised by the ESPN headline:
Down at half, No. 1 UConn routs No. 2 Stanford

Being down by two at the half and winning by 12 hardly qualifies as a 'rout', IMO.
 
What I was REALLY psyched about is that the announcers mentioned that only TEXAS had scored more points on UConn (until Stanford) this year....

And, since the point spread was about the same for us and Stanford vs Uconn, I say we played them better than I thought....

oops typed the scores wrong but still a 12 pt victory for uconn....that's not a route in my book. and i've noticed that espn changed the headline to say that uconn trounced the cardinal as opposed to routing them...a little better i suppose.
 
UConn's score was 20+ points over Suntil all the starters were pulled...
That's why it was an original "rout".....

I was disappointed....but as I said earlier, it makes our game w/ UConn seem more palatable....

What a machine UConn is....I will just hate it if they go undefeated through another year and win another NC.....just HATE it!!

I watched the game yesterday and then I went back and looked at our game against UCONN. The biggest diffrence I seen was the defense pressure on UCONN guards that Texas applied. Stanford guards were very slow with no energy. That was the difference in the game. If we could have been more in a flow on offense against them. We probably would have given them a better GAME. I look forward to the Big 12. Its going to be tough. There are a lot of conferences down this year. The Big 12 should be the best league this year
