Good time to get a preview of what Stanford will be bringing to Austin in a couple of weeks (Sat. Nov 13 at 12:30 pm at the FEC).

jeez, UConn is 19 pts better than the #3 team? and that's with Lewis going out with an injury. Have to think that anything less than an national championship is going to be a disappointment.

I don't think it's going to be easy for UCONN this year.
I see a lot of team's that will challenge them.
Women's Basketball this year and in the coming year's will be really exciting, especially when Texas get in the mix of thing's.

UCONN looked good for sure, very tough to beat them in Storrs. Well, tough to beat them anywhere, but even moreseo at home. I do think Stanford is going to be very good this year but they need to get some production from someone other than Amber and Chiney. Their other three starters shot a combined 2-18, or 11% from the field. Ouch. They did match UCONN on the boards, but the Huskies also blocked 9 shots compared to just one for Stanford. I think a problem for the Cardinal is experience, and that should be less of a factor later in the year. One frosh starter and another a RS soph, and all three off the bench who saw double-figure mins were also freshmen. Trial by fire for all the newcomers to go up against UCONN at home in one of the first contests of their collegiate careers, but should serve them well going forward.

One thing for sure Geno teaches OFFENSE!! Everybody harps on defense and I agree you need that but UCONN kills everyone because they score, score, score. They have so many offense sets and offense weapons. SCORE SCORE SCORE!
