Staining a Concrete Patio

I am thinking about staining our back patio (concrete). Has anyone here done this? Tips/instructions would be appreciated. Thanks.

If it goes well, I may do the garage as well.

I did my front porch 15 years ago on a different house. It was easy - I prepped it with the acid and then rolled out the stain. A few things I remember - one there is no cleanup. Everything goes in the trash and two - make sure you tape everything and I mean everything you do not want stained. If you sliip with the roller you probably get a wierd color brick for life
