St. Louis on a Monday

I have an interview in St. Louis on a Tuesday. I'm going in to meet family on Saturday, and we're going to the Rams game on Sunday (vs. the Browns, who are my team...) and I'm going to spend the rest of the day with them in St. Louis. But they live in So. Illinois, and I have a dinner for the interview on Monday night... So I want to know what I can do during the day on Monday.

I'd like to find something fun/interesting that is local to the city, perhaps to give me a glimpse of what they have to offer in the chance that I end up living there for a few years. Some good local place for lunch? Anything else?

I've been up the arch, and to the malls, and to some of the local Italian places on the Hill...but other than that, any recommendations?

The zoo is supposed to pretty good, and it's free. You mentioned the Hill which is the place I would've recommended you go eat.

Laclede's Landing is an area with a ton of bars/restaurants. It's between the Edward Jones Dome and the river basically.

Send MizzouSnives a pm. He grew up there.

Check out "Blueberry Hill" for lunch. It's a fun restaurant with a ton of pop culture memoribilia.

Blueberry Hill

The Zoo is a great idea, especially now that it's not hot. The Art Museum is pretty impressive, too.
