St Augustine Sod in NW Austin?

OK -lets be honest this is a lazy question. Where is the best place to buy sod in NW Austin, from a price quality perspective. Seems like the place I used to go moved out to Cedar Park on Palmer Lane- can't reemmber the name of it... Grass Patch maybe?

Anyhow probably need to get a half pallet, perhaps more if my neighbor wants to buy some as well.

ALSO how big is a piece of sod? I am thinking 1-1/2 feet by 2 feet? But need to do the math.

They have a location on McNeil road near 183. Call them up and they will tell you how far a pallet will get you and how much it will cost.

A pallet should cover about 450 sq ft. Each piece is approx. 15" X 18". A 1/2 pallet should run you about $80. We carry grass only on weekends but we are in Round Rock. Lowes also carries it. You might try Turf Grass America McNeil and 183 don't know if they sell by the piece or 1/2 pallet. hope this helps

turf America is now King Ranch- got a half pallet for $74 including tax... think they messed up ... but it was close to home.
