Financial audit will be a small portion of their position, and IT an even smaller posrtion. This is mostly an Operational Audit position. However this position will be a flow through position, so once the audit is done this person willl move into acounting with tons of guys from the Big 4, so they are going to want to see a heavy accounting backbround. This Sr. Auditor will periodically be reporting to the Audit Committee; will assist in the development of the annual internal audit plan, and will be championing internal control and corporate governance concepts throughout the business. This is also an opportnuity to direct and review the work performed by other internal audit personnel.

Musts: CPA or currently pursuing it; Audit; SOX; Acct degree.
