My home computer must have some sort of virus or real bad spyware that I can't remove.
I ran Norton Antivirus and it said it found viruses and removed them. I rebooted computer and virus's came back.
I have run in safe mode spybot, spy sweeper and ad-aware and they find the spyware/virus. I delete these items off computer and then I run the spyware programs again just to make sure these items are gone and these same items I thought were deleted are still on computer. I then run spyware programs again and get same result, items are still on computer.
I am running Windows ME and I did disabled System Restore before running spyware software removal tools in the safe mode.
The other problem is every time I start in Regular Windows mode my Task Manager is Full of unknown running programs and my System Resource is at 2% until I start removing the unknown programs. Sometimes I can't even remove these items without computer locking up.
Has anyone else had the same problem? If so, is it repairable?
