Spurs re-sign Finley

Finley agrees

Not sure how I feel about this. Finley came in and gave the Spurs a jumpshooter who could knock down the intermediate shot, but his defense and footspeed are not what they used to be. I guess the hope is to combine him with Roger Mason and form a solid 2 guard. Glad he's back, but I hope he can pull his weight.

Finley's midrange jumper was valuable plenty of times last-year, but he seemed very uncharacteristically un-clutch from the 3-point line in the playoffs.

Even though, as Mea said, he's slowed down on defense, he's always been good at guarding bigger wing players. He didn't guard Peja much and Radmanovich hardly ever creates his own shot, so I'm not sure if Finley is still good at this or not.

I felt the Spurs should have gotten younger and more atheletic during the offseason, not sure that has happened?
