The Hack a Shaq worked, both statistically (9-20) and mentally. Combined with the Suns reliance on Boris Diaw, their elite offense was held under par. Nash & Amare were non-factors (10-30 from the field).

btw - I find it interesting that the most effective player on Diaw seemed to be Manu. Diaw worked Finley, Horry & Udoke, but Manu was able to slow him down. The Spurs giving quicker help D also helped.

The Spurs' strategy worked so well in Game 4, they only lost by 19

I think he was going to say our strategy was to take it easy and rest so that we could be energized and be able to put away the series in game 5.
