Good Bye To All The Rest!

The Heat suffer the 3rd worst defeat in NBA finals history at the hands of the Spurs. That team was on FIRE!

and a finals record 16 three pointers.

This shows what the Spurs are made of. Now the pressure is squarely back on the Heat for game 4.

The first three games are indicative of two pretty evenly matched teams, either of which can beat the other on any given night, no matter where they are playing. It all comes down to making a few key plays and whether one or the other team is able to get on a roll.

It is going to be a lot of fun to see how the series plays out.

While the Spurs are in a great position going up 2-1, I think Miami pulls out a win in San Antonio to force the Spurs to win the title on Miami's home court.

Having grown up with the old finals format, I wasn't a fan of the 2-3-2 change, but I agree that it is pretty much a non-issue as far as affecting a series outcome.

I do know that game 4 is a critical turning point in this series. Miami either pulls even and it's here we go again, or they go down 3-1 in the series - a deficit that no one has ever come back from in the NBA finals.
