Spurs - Chelsea

BBC calling it the game of the year (my choice so far would be Chelsea - Villa, which was just tremendous), as Chelsea takes the lead 3 times, only to have Spurs bounce back after every goal. Full-time: 4-4.

I didn't get to watch the game but it sounds like there were some real peaches scored. I did see Essien's goal, which was one of the cheekiest goals I've ever seen, but Huddlestone and Keane each scored a cracker.

Good result for Spurs.

I think I hate Chelsea more than the Gooners right now.
Their players are a complete bunch of wankers.

Ashley Cole should have been sent off. Not only did he go studs up and smash into Huttons leg, but then he turned his back on the ref. Class.

Fat Frank, Terry, Drogba....they are all a bunch of mugs.

Spurs could have won it at the wire, but Berbatov's shot was very well saved.

Oh well, 4-4 it ended.

Concur with Ollie's post. I was 5 minutes late arriving to the pub and missed Drogba's goal. BTW, is whining, rolling his eyes and throwing his hands in the air in disgust a pavlovian response Drogba has to the whistle? That guy finds something to ***** about every time play is stopped.

Hopefully, Woodgate will keep his goal scoring streak vs. the Blues going for quite some time.

RK is my favorite player, and I was glad to see him get that wondergoal to equalize late.

If the Essien goal had been disallowed b/c of offside or Robbo had been able to corral Cole's first, this would've been a great win.

Amazing match. I can't believe Berbatov didn't finish in stoppage time.

And yes, I can not stand Chelsky. Their bullying and disrespectful behavior towards the match officials is ridiculous. I live for the moment when one of them gets sent off for it (as Cole should have been). A MLB ump would have given him the old 'heave-ho' about 0.3 seconds after he turned his back.
