Spurs Bring Stephen Jackson Back

Either Kidd just made Jefferson look a lot better than he really was, or it was a contract year right before he signed with SA.
 
I was really surprised that Jefferson didn't do more with the Spurs. Good memories of Jackson in SA and if he can come close to his former self there, it is a great addition. A little attitude wouldn't hurt the Spurs either.
 
As the article indicated, Jefferson was an enigma. He came over with high expectations and steadily faded each year. He could show flashes of brilliance only to disappear later (see last year's Memphis series). Not getting more out of him is robably one of Pop's biggest headaches.

I know its hind-sight, but its hard to believe the Spurs traded Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas, and Fabricio Oberto for him.
 
I like this move. Not so much for the Jefferson departure, but b/c I too have fond memories of Jax's past work in SA. Hopefully he can suppress the craziness and bring back some of the magic.
