sprinkler store?

i'm looking for the wire that runs to the valves. there's a red wire and a white wire. does anyone know a sprinkler company that sells parts and stuff like this (not talking HD or Lowes here). i've found the wire online, but it's 500 yards. it's only $50 for that, but i just don't want to buy 500 yards unless i absolutely have to. i've got to fix about 20-25 ft in my front yard.

any help greatly appreciated.

I thought HD and Lowes sold it by the foot in their bulk wire dept.

they have the black wire that has 7 colored wires inside. not the same thing as what i'm looking for. thanks for the reply though

You should be able to use any underground wire that is 16 to 20 gauge or so. How about low voltage outdoor lighting wire? The requirements aren't too rigorous: low voltage (24V) and relatively low current (~1A) and underground.
