Sports grill/bar and BBQ QUESTION

I have family that arrived from Dallas yesterday and they are huge DELAHOYA fans. I have only gone to bars to watch fights so I wanted to know if any of you could help me out?

Are there any sports grills or restaurants that will have the fight? Or at least the 'nicest' bar in town that you can suggest...I really appreciate it.

Lastly, a good college friend of mine is now in grad school at Stanford and we have a bet going about CA and TX BBQ. I need to know what the best TEXAS BBQ SAUCE is. I am going to send him some next week. So whatever you think will kick *** in CA let me know.

Besides strip clubs, the nicest places you can find the fight would be Texas Sports Bar at Showplace Lanes on I-35-Braker or the Warehouse down on Ben White. You also might try Legends Sports Bar in the Holiday Inn at 183 and MOPAC.

As far as BBQ sauce, send 'em some Ruby's down by the drag!

BBQ in California. I lived in the Los Angles area for six years and I can only think of one or two BBQ joints. What little I tried was not very good.

Now when my LA friends visit me in Austin all they want to eat while here is BBQ.

Stubb's BBQ sauce. It's in grocery stores. Get spicy.

Or run by Salt Lick and grab a bottle there. Nothing in CA can touch either of these.

Central Market now carries Salt Lick rub and two types of sauce. One regular and the other spicey.
