Sports for scrubs like me...

Does anyone play pick-up basketball or soccer anywhere in North Central Austin (I live near Farwest & Mopac)? I'm a total scrub, but I really enjoy playing pretty much any sport. If anyone is interested in meeting up in the early evenings (6pm - 8pm) let me know.

i don't know if you like softball but there are always dudes who come out with a glove and get picked up by teams who have a no show in the city leagues. sometimes i see guys playing more than one game a night that way. there are different levels of competition too, i think there are 3 in the men's leagues

i live not too far from you but my team plays at krieg fields. i don't know personally, but i'll bet its the same way at havens which is north and is closer to your place

PacSER has a group of guys that play at McNeil on saturdays. I keep wanting to come but haven't been able to make it yet.
