When sizzle turns to fizzle

Morons. They compare Vince's situation to Alex Smith and Leinart? Those two turdblossems don't even start they've stunk it up so bad. If the freakin' Titans would get Vince some WRs it would be a much different story.

^^^Yeah.

He hasn't looked particularly good so far. I don't know how that constitutes "dumping" to state the obvious.

Vince has them exactly where he wants them : hating and doubting.

Now if only his receivers will catch the damn ball.

Funny thing is, VY nearly got his team to the playoffs in his rookie season and then got them into the playoffs in his 2nd season despite being hurt most of the year. Alex Smith was a bust from the get-go and Leinart has just melted under the pressure despite having two of the best WR's in the game and a veteran RB.

Give VY Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and Edgerrin James and the Titans are going to the ******* Super-Bowl.

In his second year as a starter for Texas many were still wondering if he would cut it as a QB and wanted him moved to WR. You know the rest . . . .

So far the Titans haven't got him the help he needs and deserves. The two Peyton brothers have done outstanding with help. Their father who was probably every bit as good as his two sons didn't have the help. Archie was drafted by New Orleans where he spent most of his career. He was highly respected as a QB and had good statistics but New Orleans didn't get him the help he needed or deserved and he never had a winning season. At least Vince had help in college at UT but Archie didn't at Ole Miss.
The Titans have the QB in Vince. I hope they wake up and get him help so he doesn't have to be another Archie Manning at New Orleans.

Amazing that people do put much stock into how important it is to have players that can not only get open, but catch the ball when thrown to. Every QB misses his targets, but they have confidence when they are on target that their WR will catch the ball. VY does not have the luxury of having confidence in his WR's. VY is a victim of having to feel like his passes has to be perfect to be caught. Eli doesn't have the pressure of having to make perfect passes when Plexico Burress can catch balls not on target.

Vince has to take some responsibility for not playing especially well. He is a no excuses guy.

But, the Titans do not have ONE skill player who would make the Dallas Cowboys roster. Not one.

Kinda hard to believe they are a playoff team really.

LOL...

Take a look at my sig folks, for some of you uninitiated, I was one of the original and most vehement defenders of VY, and remain so today. My reply was simply the most often repeated mantra I hear on the many VY threads I participate in. The ignorance abounds.

In reply to:

Giants led in drops, though they were probably better able to make attempt at passes that the Titans receivers never came near. Sometimes a better defensive team in baseball will have more errors because they are athletic enough to get to balls that would have simply dropped in for the lesser team.

VacantlyOccupied,

Two things that website doesn't take into account:

1) Eli threw over a 100 more passes than VY. So of course there should be drops.

2) Like someone pointed out earlier, if Plexico drops a ball off his finger tips 45 yards downfield as he leaves his feet counts the same as Justin Gage dropping a 7 yard out that hits him between the numbers. Not saying that actually happened, but I have seen way too many WR's for the Titans drop routine balls that most NFL WR's catch that seems like a gimmes.

Burress>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Gage

Isn't VY learning a new system this year after "round peg square hole" Chow was blown out for undermining VY last year?
