Spammer using my domain name

I hate Spammers.

One or more of these vermin are using my domain name as a return address on their Rx spam. So when this junk bounces back all the "Undeliverable..." messages come to me. These "Undeliverable" messages are sent by a mailbot, but you'd think ISPs would realize that the return address in these spams are not always correct.

So what can I do? My inbox is getting filled up with bounce-backs from spam I never sent.

Is it actually possible to trace these scum-dogs and contact them?

If I could contact them, why would they even care the problems I encounter when they use my domain name?

What bugs me the most is when a spammer actually gets caught, they get a slap on the hand -- maybe.

It is called spoofing. Over the past year and a half, spammers have really taken to spoofing. There isn't anything you can do about it other than filter out the bounced mail so it doesn't bother you. I've lived with it for a long time.

Even worse, your domain could end getting blacklisted and then your legitimate email won't be delivered to much of the Internet. btw, if you have a form on your site it's possible they are using it as a relay to send out the spam. The Link
