Hmm, I wonder why the ref is blind here to the point that the commentators notice and are disgusted by it. How they are allowed to club people, step on feet and nothing gets called. Amazing how this **** followers the eternal floppers time and time again. Just because there if fire does not mean there is fire, right?
 
Wow. So the Spaniard loses his footing and gets a card for diving. Italy cannot play without blatant diving and don't get cards. This ref's family must be held hostage or something because he looks stressed over something and is giving an horrible showing for an official. There needs to be more accountability and penalty for performances like this by referee's.
 
Italy are the Oklahoma Sooners of the soccer world. Yeah, they win but have to cheat to do so. Chicanery and cheating are the crux of what they do. Yup, they are the Sooners. I don't get how anybody can root for them and claim to be a soccer fan.
 
This ref continues to stop the game over non-head injuries. Its killing the flow.

Spain should have pressed on there. Typical Italian ******** taking away the Spanish advantage.

For the poster advocating use of instant replay in another thread, UEFA (and FIFA for that matter) should use replay to retroactively fine diving and injury faking. 500,000 Euro for the first offense and 1,000,000 for each subsequent offense. The Italians would either quit this **** or be broke.
 
The mafia pockets are deep though. And Italy are not the only ones, to be fair. But they do it much more than anybody else and take it to a new level of low.

I agree about the after the fact reviews of the matches and the penalties going out. Give them a "Grey" card or something and if you accumulate a certain amount (with a quick and fair appeal) you miss a game or more.

Get rid of this ****.
 
That was some of the worst officiating I've seen. Could not believe that ****! Shouldn't even have gone to penalty kicks. Glad those ******* got what they deserve!

I find it ironic that Napolean (even though just a username) comments on the vertical challenges of the Espanish. But yeah, they are some shorties. The soonersoccertalians looked like giants. They fell like one too.

May the tears of virgins fall tonight in Italy. This, of course, would mean by visitors in that country with females.
 
Good. I missed much of the game because I was watching the US and Barbados. Yeah, I know. Bad decision. I just hate Italy and dislike Spain so I decided to support the US in a game that really didn't matter. I'm glad the divers got their's.
 
Add the diving, the @$@ idiot Ref's calls and the typical Italian defensive style and I was getting more and more pissed off as I was watching this game. Thank goodness Spain won!
 
Well done by Spain! Looking forward to Germany vs. Spain final with the Spanish taking the cup...Would have loved to see a Dutch / Spain semifinal but oh well.
 
Thank goodness Spain won. I was telling my wife, while we were watching the game, that I ******* HATE Italy. She asked why.. I said, "they're everything that's wrong with soccer. Flopping, whining, faking injuries, etc.." No sooner did I say that, and *****-*** Luca Toni flops on the ground and the announcer says something to the effect of "he's acting like he got shot by a sniper."

**** Italy. And **** Mexico. They're no better.
 
I expect different things out of Mexico with a new man at the helm, hopefully.

I would like to see Uruguay play Italy and for a massive sinkhole to form. There would be no real loss, really.
