Spaghettios!

Sometimes there's nothing like a can of Spaghettios. I like to open the can, dump them in a pot, and heat them up on a gas stove for about 3 minutes. Serve with spoon straight from the pot. Just the plain ones, and always in "O" shape. Anybody else love em?

I made it thorugh many days as a poor college student in Austin eating the ones with meatballs. Hamburger helper too.

I had one spoonful once when my children were young. They would agree with you how wonderful they are. I think it was possibly the worst thing I have ever tasted.

I loved these as a kid, but in my cynical/adult/older years, I can't get around the sugary taste of the sauce. On another note, what the hell is "Franco-American" about a canned Italian pasta?

I quit liking them about the time I turned 7 or 8. I realised that they are just some nasty crap.... at least to me.

There are comfort foods like that for all of us. I am guilty of Totino's pizzas....

Sooner,
I agree that Totinos are NOTHING like pizza. I have no idea what they are like.. but they are good.

simi.... try cooking the pizza on a piece of foil instead of right on the rack.. I do this because it keeps the oven clean, but there is still no real clean up. You just eat it off of the foil, or scrape it off of it. The other really cool thing is that although you have just put the foil in the oven at 450 degrees for 12-14 minutes, you can pull it out with your bare hands.

Pizza Rolls are muy bueno. Microwave them for 5 seconds for every roll and finish them off in the toaster oven until the stuffing starts to ooze out.

I've concluded that food manufacturers have been systematically cutting corners on the quality of ingredients in some of the best culinary delights of my childhood. Cocoa Puffs, Pop Tarts, Spaghettios and Chocolate Malt-O-Meal aren't what they used to be. Thank God for the high standards maintained by Pizza Rolls.

I will admit that when I worked on oil rigs, I enjoyed many a can of Chef Boyardee heated on the exhaust manifolds of big diesel engines.

Wow...this is weird since I was just thinking of Spaghettios.

I heart Spaghettios! This is a great late night fix after a trip to the Flying Saucer.
