South Padre Island Invitational

I think for 2009 we should try to get into this tournament. I love the Maui invitational but it will be a few years before I can afford that trip. I could probably afford to take an extended weekend at South Padre Island and it would be nice to spend a few days at the beach (even if it is in november) and get to watch the horns play basketball. I think A&M is playing in it this year. Maui invitational definetly has a better draw of teams, but it would be nice to play at SPI every now and again.

As long as Texas is attracting the bright lights and ESPN, I really doubt they'll do their exempt tournament in state.
