South/Central Texas

Next month we will be making a drive from Port Aransas to Dallas and have several days to get to Big D, so were looking to make some stops along the way. We had thought about heading over to Fredericksburg and staying there for a day or two, also considered Kerrville.

Any other options in South or Central Texas that would be fun to kill a couple of days in? You should know that we're taking our 1-year old, so we are a little limited as far as activities go.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

For the kid. Sea World and/or the San Antonio Zoo.

I think SeaWorld is only open on weekends for the next month or two. "Moose out front shoulda told you".

They need to change their billboards. I had just happened to notice one that said nothing but weekends.

It's still a good thing to check. And it was an opportunity for a "vacation" reference.

absolutely. The only reason I knew it was open was my wife and my parents took my kids for their first trip down there last Monday. They loved that place. I think I'll be spending lots of money there in the next few years.

Also, any time is a good time for a "Vacation" reference.
