Sounds like two years ago, doesn't it?

Knight is a douche

I am probably one of the last guys to defend him, BUT do you think he is trying to make sure his relationship w/ Barnes does not show?

So what if Bobby Knight hates Texas? A lot of people hate Texas. For a guy who's no longer coaching, Knight is a non-issue. Knight's comments aren't going to cost us votes or recruits. But I'll agree, Knight is a pain-in-the-***.

Knight commented on Texas' constantly fouling his teams in the paint and then a smattering of other snide comments. It shows that Barnes dominated his *** when he was at Tech. Knight was a damn good X's and O's coach, but he's got no business being in the booth.

I've already emailed and txted ESPN about Knight. He NEVER needs to call another Texas game if he can't be Fair in his comments! Which I don't think he can!!

brent wanted him to talk about on the road in b12, instead he starts drawing up his play that he used when his team avg'ed 55 pts a game.

Hook'em!!!

I never get the feeling that any of the sports teams here really get fed up with getting punked by K-State all the time. They've knocked our asses around in footbal, even in baseball, and both here and up there in basketball.

What's it take for the players on all the team sports at UT to realize these guys love shoving up our rears, and for us to get some kind of pissed off angry attitude about it and realize we have to play harder against K-State as any team.

I have seen too many K-State teams just bully Texas all over the place. It's depressing.

On the post-game wrap-up with Craig Way (radio, 1300), Barnes said, "A little pain doesn't hurt anybody."

It's reasonable to lose a road conference game, especially to a ranked opponent (in any conference), so these can be dealt with. Guess I can live with it. But for some reason, I dislike losing to this program.

I had a feeling we would lose this game since they seemed to play well against us all the time. Its good to lose early than late but I hear you when it doesn't feel good to lose to K-State. They brought it and so did their fans. We didn't, missing lay-ups, poor passing/decision making, and continued dismal Free Throw shooting. Its good its January and not March.

The weirdest thing is that Knight was virtually coaching KSU through the game from the booth. Every single comment he made the entire game was what KSU was or wasn't doing right, what they should or shouldn't do. He made virtually no comments about Texas, whether about our good or bad play. Just weird.
